Need help please on how to change a 2002 Prius shifter assembly

    Hello Everyone,
    I would greatly appreciate anyone that can give me some steps on how to change the Shift Assembly on a 2002 Toyota Prius.....
    This is the only car that I have now and I have to get it going before school starts.

    I would doubt that there any steps for this type of replacement. Do you have the replacement part already? I would just start by taking things apart and labeling and noting your steps so you know how things would go back together. My first thought is this is not going to be an easy straight forward task.

    Yes I got a replacement used Shifter assembly from Ebay in a very good condition.....Now I need to know how to replace the old one....
