    Hello all,

A newbie of prius coming from german ☺️

2006 prius with 220k km on it with bunch of minor issue that I cant identify.

    1) the front end is shaking. Especially passenger side feels under the feet. Seems to get better with highway speed though.

Its not the tire balance btw.

    2) weird rattling noise coming from the engine when accelerating. I drove two other priuses, they seemed to accelerate faster and felt better (more stiff).

Surprisingly I have no issue with fuel economy though.

Axles, transmission, worn engine, plugs, wheel bearings?

    1. I suggest you try rotating the rear tires to the front axle and vice-versa. See if that makes any difference. (Yes, I realize you think the tire balance is OK; this is a way to verify that.)

    2. Rattling noise: see if it is valve noise, or a worn bearing.

220K km (132K miles) is not much usage, the car is just starting to be broken in. Good luck.
