    I'm trying the buy the new prius plug in and i didn't pre register does anyone have a account there not using so that i can pro order one please and thank you!!!

    I'm pretty sure they're non-transferable. I think the registering name has to match the person buying the car...

    no cause you can say your buyin for your girlfriend boyfriend sister in law what ever and why wouldn't you be able to change the number do you have an account i could try it with?

    Orders are not transferable (see order FAQ on Toyota's website). Pre-registration accounts are transferable (I had previously checked with Toyota). You can update the profile information attached to the account via the Toyota owner account management tool (the pre-registration site itself doesn't support profile changes).

    Non transferable and only one per account gang. We are auditing the lists.

    From the FAQs:
    The vehicle must be purchased and registered in the name of the individual who placed the order, someone in their household, or their business. The order is nontransferable.

    Sorry, but we'll have units available through most dealers in the 14 launch states starting by mid 2012.
