My gf doesn’t know if she changed the transmission fluid on her 2008 with 162,000 miles. Should I go get it change or will that just mess it up as it? Please help. Thanks!

Is she the original owner? Either way, I would create an free account on the official Toyota owners Web site
    Welcome to Toyota Owners

You will need the VIN number. Once you have an account you will have access to all service done on the car by Toyota dealers (which may show a fluid change), as well as any recalls that NEED to be done (as well as any that HAVE been done). This includes past owners, if any.

If you grab a CarFax on the car (about $40 at CARFAX™ - Shop, Buy, Own, & Sell Used Cars), you will find many independent auto mechanics are tied into CarFax and you may find some history from independent shops.

When there’s doubt, there is no doubt, that’s the first thing they taught me.

Easy to drain and fill DIY according to most folks here or even at the dealer for not much cash. Will probably last the remaining 100k miles life of the car.
