    I sure don't feel like it. I am going to talk to the pulmonologist about it. She wanted me on the Qvar for at least 2 months before we tried something else. I don't have much faith in her though. I think she is new.

    F8L & Justin my wife is a cancer survivor. It caught us by suprise. If you ever meet my wife she is a gym rat works out about 1-2 hours every day, eats healthy, educated and no stress lives a great life. Diagnosed with Breast Cancer 5 years Cancer free now.

    Medicine is advanced now a days. Get a good doctor and live my friend.

    Oops. I missed these new posts. :(

    I have more good news.

    My CT scan yesterday came back clean. That puts me at 1yr and 3mo cancer free! I started working harder in the yard and with our restoration projects at work and my breathing is a little better, I feel stronger and I am putting weight back on. Life is looking good!

    JMD, I'm so glad that your wife made it through. So many before us were not so lucky to have such great medical care. It truly is amazing. :)

    Now back to my yard work....

    1 - WOOO HOOO!!
    2 - At 90 years of age ( next birthday ) my dad will be bladder cancer free for 5 years. I'm looking forward to you beating his record at longevity.
    3 - those boots ....looking good ... mighty sexy

    I just found this thread, and it just made my day. Such an amazing story-best wishes and godspeed to you F8L.:)

    However, my mother had been recently diagnosed with breast cancer, but thankfully it was detected in a very early stage. She had surgery to remove the carcinomas, and the outlook is highly positive for at least the next five years. I pray that she stays in great health and that the cancer does not return with a vengeance (or at all for that matter). Again, thank you for posting your quest with colon cancer and I pray you stay cancer-free!

    I am new to this board, so I just caught up on all of this. I have noticed posts about how those with a Prius are a community, and it is clear from this thread, that we all are and have each others backs regardless. Although I don't know you, I hope that you continue to get copious amounts of great news and that you remain cancer free!

    I wish your mom the best. The fact they caught it early should help tremendously. Is she going to Kaiser Roseville or UC Davis? You're really local so if she ever needs advice or an ear I'm here. :)

    It's true. There are some really great people on this forum. So many of them have gone out of their way to help me when things looked bleak. After awhile this place just feels like home. Or is it Cheers? *que the theme song*
