The new '06 JDM Center Console Organizer is really cool. It is deeper than the old one but fits inside my '05 Prius center compartment perfectly well. The old one only has its interior floor carpeted. This new one has all surfaces covered with this nice black velvet except the outermost lower surfaces.

It has a coin & a card compartments. Then right underneath & in front of the card compartment is a large lower compartment (ie: the card compartment floats there). There is also this elongated pen compartment.

I wonder if '06 US-spec Prius comes w/ this new organizer already?

Also, now with this new organizer in place, you can use the old one to jack up the armrest like what the manual suggests.

It will fit in the 04!? I have some CDs in the lower part now would those have to come out? Not a big deal now that I have the iPod adapter. Can I order one, he said taking the hook firmly in his mouth?

Nope, my center console is a big cavern with a little shelf which fits toward front or back.

I set up an area in from of this center console (floor area in center of front) where I can put my purse and it doesn't slide over by putting a couple flat bungie cords hooked onto the lower dash plastic to the side of my seat. It's working out great! Want a picture?

Yes, it fits in '04-06 Prius. I packed up all Center Console Organizers already (going out to customers tomorrow) and I have nothing left for myself or for trial purpose, sorry. Yes, you can order one, of course. Just go to my Prius shop please, link is at my sig. Thanks.

    Brilliant!

    Edit:

Vincent, take your centre console tray, slot it in the little, well.. slot towards the front of the console and close the console. You'll see that the tray elevates the console box lid thus effectively "raising" it.

The coin compartment has 3 rows for 3 different sizes of coins. So you can dump the coins in or you can organize them nicely. I want one for my Prius too!

But then you can't get at the little drawer in the front. That's where I keep my Kleenex.

That said, I have a little trash can I keep there. It has "sandbags" on each side to stabalize it on the bump. But it's easy to move when I need to get to the drawer.

I rarely have passengers so I just keep my purse on the passenger seat.

Yes, Godiva, but keeping the purse on the passenger seat- sometimes the Prius thinks its a real person - with warning seat belt light and all-- grin.

Sigh. My purse does that all the time when I put it in the passenger seat. Waaayy too much junk. I'm just glad it doesn't beep at me until I move it to its usually spot on the floor.
