NEW fuel economy ratings for Prius

I love the bottom three new EPA tested hybrids, the chevy and gmc trucks with 15 and 16 MPG in the city HA HA hA aahahahaha

40-50 is more realistic as an overall average in mixed driving for the long haul. ( 48 mpg lifetime 45000 mi in 18 mos ) but I can get the vehicle to return 35 or 45 or 55 or 65 mpg any time I want it to. It's all my choice.

BTW it appears that you might be unaware that the MPG ratings on the windows and in the 'advertising' are mandated by the US Govt ( EPA ). The automakers by law cannot use any other figure than what the EPA tests return. They cannot say for example 'The EPA tests are bogus and give results that are too high at 60/51 but you the driver will only get about 48'.

Now at least the EPA 'estimations' are more in line with what the real world finds. OH, and I can still get my Prius to give me 35 or 45 or 55 or 65 mpg anytime I want it to. Nothing has changed.
