Well the battery seems to get disconnected because all power is gone. Then as soon as I lay the seats down to crawl through the back and mess with the battery I hear 'beep beep' and it's all back on
I get 2 trouble codes regularly p3016 and p420(not sure about the 420 one). I have torque pro on my phone with the OBDII dongle. So I have access to allot of readings. Online P3016 says #6 in the hybrid battery is weak or bad.bur I monitor all of them at all times and it is within .5 of all the other 13.
We are planning on trading it in for a Prius II. With 158k. I just need this one to last a couple more weeks! LoL.
There are OTHER problems but that's already allot. To get started. LoL. It burns oil like a half a quart every 3-4 days. I put 100 miles on it every day. Mechanically it sounds good. But we did have to replace the valve cover gasket because one of the spark pluh tubes was leaking oil into it (#2). And was misfiring and we lost allot of power and mpg. But after it never went back to what it was before. I'm gonna stop now. I'm sure I'll have to address each issue separately in forums. because there is more. Like the hybrid battery seems to drain very quickly. But t it fills up quickly too. We test drove the Prius II and it had battery all the way up this long hill and for a long time. But also took a long time to refill. Whew.......

the prius we looked at is a 2010. so i guess thats generation 3? not a prius II

oh yeah AND im pretty sure the fuel injectors need relplaced because every fuel injector cleaner i have tried over and over and the only one that works a little .... it surges up hills and at high rpms. and seems to lag when taking off..... theres just so many problems!
