I still have the original Bridgestone Turanza EL400 and have 6/32 out of 10/32. I'm at 26,000 miles.

5/32 on two and 7/32 on one. 9/32 on the replacement. So I'm about 50% tread on the worse two.

The Goodyear Assurances were the OEM tires for me. mpg data is on Fuelly - though I haven't updated in over a year, the average hasn't changed much: Prius C (Toyota Prius C) | Fuelly

That's for mostly city driving. Lately, my winter tanks (temps below 50 degrees) are about 50 mpg, and in warm weather (above 50) they're about 62 mpg.

What tires did you have before the Assurances, and how much has the mpg changed? It could be the break-in period for the tires.

i do not recall what my original tires were. i switched to what were labelled as fuel efficiant tires but my mileage has gone from 52 to 42. they've had plenty of time to break in. i went with a slightly larger tire so i think that may have done something bad to my mileage. but i bought the new tires from sears and the larger size was listed in their system as safe for me to use....

  16. Skylis 1 had the Bridgestone; but when I picked up Skylis 2 they put the GY Assurances on them, which I'm just "eh" about.
At 3000 miles, front tire tread depth was 10/32, and rear tire tread depth was 9/32.
At 6000 miles, front tire tread depth was 9/32, and rear tire tread depth was 9/32.

If the larger tire is heavier, that would make a difference, but it shouldn't be 10 mpg. If the OEM tires are not Goodyear Assurances, they were likely Bridgestone Ecopias.
