Hi from South Florida. I just became a Prius owner two days ago! Even though I've only owned the car two days, I already love it. My wife and I got a 2013 Prius v Two. We happily trade in the crossover/SUV when we discovered there was such a thing as the Prius v. We've long been interested in Prius and are finally happy owners.

I'm reading up and finding this forum to be very informative. I really appreciate reading about the importance to maintain the tire pressure difference between front and rear.

Anyway, I thought I'd say hi from South Florida (Broward County).

Welcome to PriusChat! I hope you enjoy your Prius as much as I have mine!

For most of the US, winter is poorer mileage than summer, but you may well find that in south Florida, that A/C hurts your summer mileage and spring and fall are your best times.

Above about 85F I take my v out of Eco as I need the extra A/C that Normal provides.

Thanks. I'm glad you had a great time in Florida. We sometimes drive across Alligator Alley to Naples for a quick day trip...nice beaches over there.

Thanks! I'm in Coral Springs, although originally from DC. I see you're in the Atlanta area now. I've been once and thought it seemed like a great city.

Isn't that the sad truth all over the state?! It's disappointing to see extreme over-development in such a beautiful state. I can't wait to cruise over in the new Prius. :)
