    Does anyone know of or attend any viable, decent chat sites on green urbanism, urban homesteading, small footprint living, etc....your recommendations would carry much weight with me....

    I don't know of any individual chat sites for these specific topics, but you'd think they would exist. We've covered some related topics here in the environmental section, if that helps. If you can deal with your mind being bent in a time warp, you might find the Whole Earth Catalog interesting. :)
