    1. This came with the P2 "Vehicle Shield Package," (installed at the port but we were only charged about $100 for it, not the $379 sticker price.) I didn't know much about the package but found a brochure in the owner's manual wallet. We did not receive a bottle of "Sealant cleaner." Isn't that suppose to come with the car?

    2. Rear bumper protector. We don't have one. I'm going to order one. Is this self adhesive so that we just line it up on a clean bumper and press it down good?

    Thanks!

The dealer gave me the Sealer cleaner but I have never used it. My rear bumper came with the decal version protector, it's ok but I would have bought the rubber version otherwise. It just sticks on.

This is the type you want:
    PriusChat Shop : 2012-2013 Toyota Prius v Rear Bumper Protector [00016-47120] - $48.99

Some care is required for installing. Before removing the tape on the adhesive, place the thing on your bumper and mark your alignment with masking tape. You want the rear lip of the protector to hang out over the back edge of the bumper, so it needs a bit of spacing back from the front edge of the bumper.

The trick to install the black rubber rear bumper protector, beside giving a good clean up; you should remove EACH section of the red plastic tapes that stick to the double sided tape only a COUPLE inches and pull that tail end OUTWARD. Slightly and gently align the protector to the pre-marked lines and drop it down. Once you're sure that the position is okay, pull the tape ends slowly one at a time. Finally press the protector home.
If you remove all the red tape and you happen to drop the protector off mark, then you will have a tough time removing it to re-align.
Note, the ambient temperature should be more than 65F.
