    CG style is nearly finalized. The next Camry is no longer conservative, it's a bold design. Powered by a 2.5 litre I4 engine with some improvements and the same power unit seen on the new Prius, the JC08 fuel consumption is targeted to be 25.0km/L or more (4.0L/100km or less. 59mpg or more).


    For reference, the current Camry Hybrid is rated at 23.4km/L (55mpg), the new Prius is rated at 35-40km/L (82-94mpg). Also, the new Accord is 30-31.6km/L (70-74mpg) so Toyota is lagging behind if the new Camry only achieves 25km/L. Very crudely extrapolating, it means the Camry Hybrid is targeting 42-44mpg or better on the EPA cycle.
