Hello to Milwaukee Hybrid Group members and friends,

Our next and final 2006 meet will be coming up on Saturday, Dec. 16th at the Oak Creek Public Library. It’ll be from 10:00am to around 1:00pm with a pot luck meal included.
With the weather a potential factor, there may not be a lot of outdoor gathering except for the hardy. We’ll start to gather around 9:30am, if you’re so inclined.

Topics and agenda have not been finalized yet. If there is a topic that you would like discussed, please email me by Dec. 5th with your suggestions. Please bring a dish to pass either as a main dish or dessert, keeping in mind we usually have more desserts than main dishes. There is a stove and oven for heat ups. Bobb and Jane will again coordinate the lunch and provide drinks and utensils.

Ongoing news: We are currently in midst of a ScanGauge 2 group buy at $139 a piece thanks to Rees Roberts’ efforts. We’ve had 6 members order from the group buy of Prius block heaters and are waiting for shipments to arrive. Wayne Mitchell and Steve Schlei will arrange for installs. Legislation meetings have started with the Coalition and updates are going to members in our legislation group.

We encourage all new hybrid owners to come to the meeting and get some individual driver training. More experienced owners may want to get some intermediate or advanced hypermiling training. This is a huge benefit that we offer our members that you will not get anywhere else. Please take advantage of it. It’ll allow you to enjoy your vehicle even more.

I can’t believe that this will be our 8th meeting together. You have made this group the largest in the country and we hope to grow and learn even more in 2007.

    Thanks for your support.
