Night Mode Day Mode

    A couple of weeks ago, the nav screen stopped going into "night mode" after dark, and I can't figure out how to get it set so it will.

    I have toggled the "day mode" button in display options, but even if I turn day mode off manually, the screen stays in day mode so the only option is to turn the nav screen off after dark.

    I've been through the manuals and found nothing that I have not already tried... I'm guessing that I might be missing something else.

    Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance,

    Your dash lights are set to max, just hit the dim one notch.

    Thanks, that was it... took me a while to find the button (which is under the AC vent near the door) Seems that if that brightness setting is set to maximum, it overrides night mode.

    HEY TOYOTA, add that information to the manual page that Bob posted.
