Featured Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn Arrested

My husband's friend knew Rita Ghosn, who lived locally in Simpsonville, SC. He said that she was really nice, although he never met Carlos.

 

he received a lot of accolades over the years. nissan electrification is better than nothing, and he was a big proponent.
i hope the next ceo doesn't kill it.

Supposedly the upcoming 60KWh (200ish-mile) version coming up fiiiiinally has a liquid cooling system.

 

i'm not worried about nissan/renault/mitsubishi, although there is potential for concern, since we are entering another down car market.

i'm more concerned that a new eco will not be as interested in electrification.
while china may bring demand, their ev plans could be temporarily thwarted for a few years as well.
and not all companies are paying attention to the coming ev tsunami. ghosen, for all of his warts, was a believer, i think.

 

I’m thinking that the bigger ... threat? ... in that regard is Chinese-domestic producers taking virtually all, as opposed to merely “much,” of that business.

 

A new movie, "Who Stole the Electric Car's Money?".

I'll bet if you were in his shoes the Leaf would have gotten seven miles of range and would have costed double.

I've always felt that Ghosen was trying to make Nissan the leader of the EV market the way Toyota leads the hybrid market.
