I wouldn't hold my breath trying to get any extra money after the deal is done. Maybe they'll give you some free oil changes or floormats or something.

The risks in the game are whether or not the next rebate will be higher than the current one and if the car you want is still in inventory.

You are SOL. If you want another rebate sell the car and buy another new one. You might be able to get a couple of free oil change coupons out of the dealer if you speak with the Sales Manager.

On the good side, by purchasing in 2017 you'll get your federal tax credit a year ahead of those who buy in Jan 2018. Invest that tax credit wisely and you'll make up the difference before next year.

 

i'm more inland (exit 26 of rt 80). our snow totals were only about 4" but the winds have caused pretty big drifts, especially in the roads in places.

 

It wasn't too bad, we got about 3"-4" and when the snow stopped and the wind died down, it took about 1 hour to clear the snow from here.

 

around 16" here, and fluffy. looks like the coast got hammered with flooding, which will freeze overnight.

 

I bought mine in upstate New York 1/2/18 and Toyota had $3500 off. I picked it up 1/3/18 and it was increased to $4000 off. Dealer said I was SOL.

 

Shopping the Prime for the last 2 days, and was offered $0 rebate in GA and $1000 rebate from a Maryland dealership. Planned on buying today, for a 2017 Prime (with a mfr.date of 12/29/17). Where are the rebates increased to $3500-$4000. Shouldn't this be at least a regional thing? I'm flying into the NE to get this car, and would love to get the additional savings.

I just wanted to say thanks to the OP on this. I started looking into buying the Prime Advanced after the New Year. The car next to impossible to find in Chicagoland and the few dealers that had it were asking for more than the MSRP price. Just when I was going to throw in the towel, I discovered this site and this OP on 1/24. I started talking to dealers in NJ and by 1/27 I flew to NJ to take delivery on mines and drove it back to the Chicago area. Getting the car for under $30,000 was awesome. I've had it now for a few days. I love it and it was worth the flight and drive time back home to get it. Thank You!
