well, it's official, there's no battery warmer on my Prime, it was 18 degrees last night and no sign that my battery was being warmed. The logging time was from 7:19 PM February 1, 2017 to 7:08 PM February 2, 2017 Prime charging status 2-2-2017.JPG

I scheduled the charge time departure to 7:00 AM the reason it's at 1 amp is because I calibrated the clamp on ammeter to .94 amps.

ive been wonder about battery and if its being heated at all in the super cold. I also wonder how much it going to affect range and life of battery. I picked mine up January 14th so its been cold since I got it for the most part. Cant wait to see what it will be like in the summer

I have a Clipper Creek 240 im using. I thought about getting the kit that hooks up in the breaker panel that can monitor amps on that breaker. however, the charger has a light on it if any power is being used and once the charge has completed, I have not noticed it reconnect. however, I could always maybe connect for a few minutes here and there, but at this time I dont know without that kit to hook up to my panel.

Seems wrong to house your Primes out in the cold. Break down and get a garage.

The "battery warmer" can be turned on and off in the vehicle settings. Check your vehicle settings. It may also affect charging time BTW.

    You don't know that.

    “Traction Battery Heater”
When the outside temperature is low and the charging cable is connected
to the vehicle, this function automatically warms the hybrid
battery (traction battery) until it reaches or exceeds a certain temperature.

You don't know what that "certain temperature" is.

The OM has a circular set of references on how to turn it off, but it does say:

“Traction Battery Heater” can be turned on and off in the “Vehicle Settings”
    settings on the multi-information display.

It's "Prime speak" in the manual. You have to read -carefully-. I got bitten once already and am "shy". ;)

The battery warmer needs the vehicle to be plugged in in order to operate, could that be the issue?

Since the plot in the OP is of a charge, including positive charge current, it must have been plugged in.

True enough. That's very odd - @priuscatprimeguy, can you send me a direct message so we can have someone from CEC give you a call?
