Hit power button and no dash lights. Car is drivable with the exception of no cruise control, mileage read out or dash readout. Did not was to power off to try and reset. Switchs go bad or as it's new to me I'm not holding button long enough?

My dash/speedo/odometer once went completely blank. When that
happened CC also stopped working. Next time I started my Gen2, the dash/speedo/odometer came back tô life and CC worked again. Just my two cents.

Oh the dreaded resistor in the dash virus hit you.

Temp fix is go to your 12v battery unplug it, count to 30 and plug back in. Look up at your dash after you plug it in. If the little red door ajar light is on you sort of fixed it. It will do it again in an hour day or week (no rhyme or reason but it will continue to happen)

The permanent fix is go to dealer and get a new dash installed (though they can't recalibrate it to match your mileage) buy a dash at junk yard (mileage may be way off) find a used "dash dealer" on line who may have a dash close to your mileage.

Orrrrrr....... Get someone to replace the resistor in the dash or do it yourself (plenty of info on the fix on YouTube)

Mine went and had hybrid doctor out of sportsylvania, fix mine

It's actually a capacitor that goes bad. There is a thread on how you can fix it yourself here on PrisChat – Combination Meter Repair - DIY. (Read the first 2 pages and then the last 3 or 4 pages if you don't have time to read the whole thread.)

If you don't have the ability or tools to repair it yourself, but you can remove the combination meter then you can send it to Texas Hybrid Batteries. They can fix it and return it, or if you want a quicker service you can order a refurbished unit with your correct odometer reading set. You then return your original to them for a core refund ($75).

So you have those options as well.

Yes. I had the same thing happen to mine when the cold weather first hit in Colorado. I ordered 2 combination meters from Texas Hybrid Batteries and they arrived quickly and well packaged. I replaced them and deep cleaned my dashboard assembly before reinstalling them back in our cars. It was the best money and time I ever spent.I highly recommend them.

Very common. It will progress to it not being able to shut the car off without disconnecting the 12 volt battery.

There’s a great YouTube video on how to take the dash out. Combo meter.

Matt @texas Hybridswillsell you a new module for $100 last I looked in 2017 lol…
