2007 with 291k miles on the clock. Intermittently loses the heads up display on the dash. Killing the 12v for about 5 seconds resets it. Sometimes it will start working all by itself.
Seems to do it more when fuel level is below 50%
Any ideas? I have installed a battery switch on the ground wire to speed up the reset process.
    Thanks Steve

You can DIY and replace the failing capacitors, or buy one that has the 299k odometer limit fix, the capacitors replaced, your current mileage programmed, and includes a lifetime warranty at : Prius Speedometer Replacement

The ground switch fix, or other tricks can last for some time (or not), and may leave you stranded with a 'no start' situation.
