I've put about 100 miles on the replacement motor. Oil and coolant look good, no smoke, and no codes! I did pull the cylinder head from the old motor, hoping maybe it might be worth something but figuring probably not with a broken piston rod. In the pic, piston number one is missing. There is a bent valve in the head so it would need some work for sure. 20200328_182112.jpg

Is the cylinder way damaged? Did the connecting rod put a hole is the block? Is the head damaged?
If not, you could get the 2015 pistons and rings, a new connecting rod and valve.
Hone the cylinder walls, lap in the valves, replace the valve guide seals and you'll have a good engine.

Hole in block, polishing on opposite sides of problem cylinder (from bent connecting rod). 1 bent valve, several bolt bounts broken near AC compressor and oil filter. Head might be ok after bent valve is replaced. Rest of power train also beleived to be good, although those came from the donor car.
