And I thought the Jersey Shore was bad.

 

What is this video about? Are we saying that others perception about Prius is bad i.e., they unnecessarily honk at you or do tailgating. Not good.

 

I have been to Troy several times in fact I have driven past the Toyota dealer on Maple, I remember you mentioned a red Prime there once. The real challenge that I find driving in that area and I can see it in the beginning of your video is that the parking lots are so segregated, you cannot move from one to the other, like at the beginning of your video from the parking lot that you are in you can't go into the 7-11 parking lot because they put that curb there to block you, so you are forced to enter the street from a less than ideal position near the intersection. Where I live and have lived before, you can almost always maneuver through parking lots to find the best and safest exit (or entrance) but in Troy I often wind up in situations like you were in where the only exit is in an awkward and difficult place.

I don't mind those crazy u-turns that they have there in place of normal left turn lanes, those actually make some sense and are almost as fun as traffic circles! But not being able to move through parking lots makes it very difficult to get in and out of businesses. But I guess you get used to it and make do.

Oh...it's hard to tell the sequence of events from watching two separate videos. I thought he was honking at you to get you to move up.

 

Granted his behavior was unacceptable, but you couldn't have waited another 5 seconds for him to pass? From my perspective you pulled in front of him and he had to brake crisply, which is what set him off.

And then after pulling out in front of him you are pooping along at 15 MPH in a 35?

Seems there is contributory factors on your part. It doesn't hurt to be kind on the road.

 

The web cams are impressive, is that something you installed or standard on Prime?
