    yeah, I think they know how to resurface if it doesn’t need it. I’ll probably ask them to clean the mating surface so it’ll bite the headgasket nicely so it doesn’t cause a leak. I’ll let you know how it’ll go in a couple of days.

    You do NOT have to disconnect that AC lines, just move the compressor out of the way.
    After disconnecting the power cable.

    which AC line?

    are you referring to the thermostat housing?

    He is talking about the compressor and its refrigerant hoses.

    yeah I didn’t remove any AC component. The only one I need to remove is the AC line bracket that’s near the coolant reservoir to get access to the engine motor mount bolts.
