OBD-speedlock on 2016+ models with PCS ?

...I have a Prius+ (V in the US or α in Japan) built "after May 2016"

I am looking for an auto-door-lock function - aka OBD-speed-lock.
(the European and Japanese models do not have this built in)
I already tried a Prius-gen3 OBD module from China - and it doesn't work.
(shouldn't mean too much of course - but a lot of sources say that it worked for them on a Prius Gen3)

Now I found a japansese web/shop-site -> kiramek - which seems to explain it:

(look up the TSL20 -> Prius-α - and it has a footnote:)

• * Pre-crash Safety System equipped cars are NOT compatible. (from 2016, MAY and newer)

Perfectly explains my observation.
But has someone else found/knows a solution for this specific case ?
