I was wondering about that OBD to Wifi device. Thinking maybe there are apps that one could run on portable computing devices.
Perhaps using a tablet or notebook PC. With the right software, it might be interesting.

But, with the existing data display in the Prius C, already being pretty informative,
I'm going to forgo adding extra displays, to what is already a distraction from my driving. ;)

I really like having the MPGs displayed by the ScanGuage in my old Ford Escape..
Since it hasn't got any kind of trip computer at all. (Unlike the Hybrid Escape).

I would love to have an OBD IPad wifi solution that would also work with X-Guage type functionality. At this point, as far as I know, the Scangauge II is the only device that can use the X-Gauge codes...

    Anyone know differently?

    What are x-gauge codes?

I'm hoping to be able to read the IGN equivalent on the scanguage. I want to find that 'sweet spot' :)

Custom codes you can put into the ScanGauge II to show you specific details about the Prius "Inner workings" such as: Coolant Temp, State of Charge of Traction Battery, current flow to and from the battery, Inverter coolant temp, etc....there are a hundred of them! All can help maximize MPG!!

It took over a year, but a researcher/programmer posted the X-Gauge code for auto-transmission fluid temperature for my Ford Escape. :D

I've used my ScanGauge II to diagnose problems on other cars, during the last 6 or 7 years.
In some cases, I've been able to repair the car within a few minutes. (And I'm not a 'Car' guy).
The ScanGauge II is a great tool that doubles as a trip computer/MPG aid.
I don't think there is anything else on the market that has the flexibility of this little gadget.
