OEM Audio in my Prius C

    I hung out with them yesterday at Nisei Showoff Car Show. We might hopefully be seeing a system for the C pretty soon now.

    Not that I've heard of. Almost as bad as the Weathertech development on in-channel side visors. :confused:

    So I found out the price will be around $1500. Not sure if it's worth it.

    I'm passing this one, happy with the OEM already installed from factory and with the radio changed to an Highlander radio.

    It's for mids/highs up front, coaxials on rear, DSP processor/amp, and 8" subwoofer/custom box with all the plug/play wiring.

    This encloser is blocking the HV battery exhaust port.

    This will greatly impact pack life.

    Isn't the battery exhaust port under the rear seat on the driver's side of the car?

    as i had commented about airflow last august.. lol..

    yeah... it blocks the exhaust.. :confused:

    I didn't read through it but glad you mentioned. Hopefully the pack was saved???

    Be warned if you have blocked intake or exhaust on the HV pack, the heat will kill it!

    You should even do a full fan cleaning once every 100k miles at least.

    Alright folks!! OEM update for our cars system. The issue at hand brought up by priusCpilot was that the sub box was blocking the battery exhaust port on the right side of the cargo area where the sub box installs. After I also mentioned my concern with this problem, he and his team are currently(today) in the process of resolving this issue so it won't be an issue. I'm hoping they resolve it by tomorrow! Wishful thinking, maybe. I was trying to get my system installed on Monday. As for now we shall see how the cards stack! Hopefully my way!
