Oil Catch Can (aka Air-Oil Separator)?

OK, I finally had some time to read info on OCC from suggested Gen3 thread. Is it correct to summarize following? While OCC sounds like a good idea on Gen3, it seems it's benefit for Gen4 and PRIME has not been shown yet. BTW, are there any commercial OCC that can be installed by a dealer or independent shop? Even if it is shown to be beneficial for Gen4 engine, knowing my own ability I am not likely to try this mod DIY. I will be watching @Raytheeagle post on this.

 

The challenge will be a routing path as the Gen4 appears to be more congested by the intake manifold and throttle body .

But more room above and around the engine bay.

So plenty of options for placement.

Now to find the best one.

I'll try to keep an eye on this thread. I'm considering seeing if I can put one in after our vacation trip.

 

I might buy one ahead of our next meetup and have the fuel line ready to go.

But this will detract from my plan with @The Critic to detail the Prime .

But I’m sure we can multi-task the opportunities .
