Well, I have been changing my oil around 4.5K intervals since the 10k hit. My oil is cleaner at 4.5k intervals than my first one at 10k. I didn't burn a drop of oil. Mile total miles driven is now at 23,647. Brakes still look awesome. Car is running true to Toyota form.

you can change it every 10k miles, changing it at 4.5k is a waste of oil to be honest. Over time when these cars are at high mileage, its normal to burn a quart of oil. You won't see any oil burning this early on.
