Have you done an oil change with that filter/oil combo setup? If so, how was the oil color? My current combo is Redline 0w-20 and mobile 1 extended protection filter to safely stretch OCI to 10K without gravy like oil result. Not so cost effective but want to be able to drive this prius to the ground for long term savings.

Is ICE in gen4 louder than in gen3? In gen3 it's quiet, unless one goes for heavy acceleration.

This is my first Hybrid. So I am not familiar with prior models. I don't "jump" on the throttle, but I do a fairly brisk acceleration. Gotta get away from those tailgaters behind me. ;) Also, my Prius doesn't seem to have much (or any) sound insulation. (That's a sore subject with me.)

A member here had posted this in the oil catch can thread. Claims to not burn oil because he changes his oil every 5k miles. I have always questioned 10k oci. I do not care what a lab says the oil can do. The real world has rain, condensation, idling, hot/cold conditions, high rpm, short trips etc. I want my car to last as long as possible because it is my money.

311k miles now. Prius = amazeballs

Maybe just camera anomaly? I've noticed a kind of rolling/fluttering, when trying to take pics of of the display. It looks like a funky old-school oscilloscope.

Both Refresh rate of mdf and camera frames per sec causes it.

The oil was black when I changed it but I could not tell a difference between 5K and 7.5K just by the looks of it.
