Oil change timing

I have decided to do my first oil change at 5,000 miles and I will do it myself. I just ordered an oil filter wrench from Amazon and will buy a case of Toyota oil from Amazon at $7.29 a quart, thats cheaper than Mobil 1 except I saw Mobil One was $27 a case at Costco the other day. I would rather get dirty than stand around a sealership waiting on my car and I hate appointments.
I have only had one oil change done by a stealership and that was because of an oil study and only had oil change places change it a few times.

The cheapest price for Mobil 1 is usually the 5 qt jug at Walmart, especially if there is a Mobil 1 rebate.

I was just on the Mobil 1 site and they make 4 different 0W-20 oils, one is high mileage so we can discard that one for a while. They all meet Toyota specifications.
