    Toyota USA (and Canada now) say 10K miles or 12 months, whichever comes first.

    That's too long. If I was in a hot arid climate like Jordan. I would not go more than 3,000 miles on the first change and no more than 5,000 on each succeeding oil change. Your climate should be considered severe service.

    look in your maintenance manual. different countries have different recommendations and oil types

    Yeah I’m in agreement; was just relaying what Toyota (North America) says. I follow 3rd gen Canadian sched, 6 months or 8k kms.

    speaking of heat, it hit 41C in Coquitlam this afternoon, ugh…

    tomorrow they’re predicting 43C. :eek:
