    I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee that was consistently burning 1 qt every 2000 miles starting around 185K miles. After reading BITOG posts about adding 2 cycle TCw3 oil to the gas (1oz every for every 5 gallons) I tried doing this for every tank. After about 50K miles or so, oil consumption is back to less than 1 qt every 5K. I plan to start my Prius on this diet later this year.

    Seems like an awfully strange thing to add to the gas. However...if it works, it works.
