Ok to let Prius idle multiple times of the day?

    Actually in that scenario the windows are down & the A/C is off. It's truly about using less fuel & therefore avoiding a pseudo warm-up penalty.

    When it's 100F+(38C+) & it's a short stop I will leave the car "idling" w/ the A/C on.

    I leave mine on overnight with AC running for sleeping, and it's doing just fine.
