Olympic Torch Bearer mis-spelt tattoo :)

    OK I had to squeeze in an Olympic thread somewhere before the London 2012 Games and this story is relevant to America and the UK;

    BBC News - London 2012: Spelling error in torchbearer's Olympic tattoo

    Jerri Peterson, from Atlanta in the US, carried the torch through Derby on 30 June after being nominated by the hotel chain she worked for.
    Before coming to England, she decided to spend money on a tattoo to mark the occasion.
    Only later did the 54-year-old realise it featured the mis-spelling "Oylmpic".

    It makes you wonder. The first thing I do when I send an important email or letter is spell check it and then proof read it twice. If I'm permanently marking my body I'd want to make damn sure I spelt it right, as would the tattoo artist?

    Well, she got her 15 minutes of fame!

    I wonder how much she paid, and if the person doing the Tattoo really graduated from High School???

    We could always sum it up by saying "Dyslexia, it's a bitch!"

    The whole purpose of a tattoo is to attract attention. Seems like she got a bargain.
