Now, why on Earth would I want to take an axe to my car???

    Oh, wait...

Well, I know how to turn off the reverse & seatbelt beeps, and override the nav limitations... does that count??

So, where's your "bronze" logo, hmmm??

Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't know about sponsorship (or maybe I just forgot... I can't remember).

    After Christmas. After Christmas.

Still early here. Warming up the "Tookie" party horns. (For his victims.)

You play (I assume)? If so, what position? What kind of program (e.g., "rec league")?

    Go to Avalanche games?

I like hockey second only to baseball.

So while I was looking for that elusive "custom member title" (which ain't there, mind ya), I noticed something about my subscriptions.

I first found PriusChat after Googling (well, actually Yahooing) the Prius factory radio, prior to purchase. And what a wealth of info I found! (Thanks, Danny!!!!!) Not just on the audio system, either. I learned enough about the Prius to realize I didn't just want one... I had to have one!

I joined PriusChat a few days after getting my car.

At first, all my posts (and subscriptions) were concentrated in Audio and Fuel Economy, with a spattering of other forums.

Well, time passes, as they say (except maybe you quantum-types), and I've researched about all I'm gonna research. So where do I find myself most of the time?

My subscriptions now are mostly Fred's threads.

I seem to have found the most intelligent, thought-provoking, cool, humorous (sometimes whacked), and concerned group of humans on this third rock from the sun. (Gosh, I think I'm gonna cry.....)

Thanks all, for making this such a fun place to be. B)

    Happy Holidays!!

Yup. I'm a wing. Usually play on the left but I'll switch over to the right on occasion. Same as my politics. :p I play in two different rec leagues. In the other league I actually play defense.

Avs games are too bloody expensive! I've only been to one and the tickets were free. First row, right behind the avs bench. Seats were great for the warm up. Absolutely sucked during the game. Nothing but the coaches' backs for 2 hours. The upside was that I was on ESPN numerous times throughout the game since during stoppages the cameras would often be trained on the benches. My Hartford Whalers jersey was very prominent!

So tripp... It appears from your avatar that you are either a spelunker (tho no helmet light) or a climber/rappeller.

Or was that something you just PhotoShopped in?

That's a picture of me in Neon Canyon, Escalante National Monument (or is it park now?) in So Central Utah. Canyoneering with some friends. It's a pretty wet canyon with a spectacular finish into a large pool. The water is COLD so a 2mm full body wet suit is in order. I don't need a head lamp because my helmet is equipped with a magical aura (-2 AC, +2 Save vs. Spells) :p

I'm not a climber (I used to climb in the gym, great fun) because I'm horrified of heights. I have vertigo near ledges but I manage to force myself to rappel because the places that you can get to are so bloody amazing that at the end of the day it's worth the terror. :D

I share that feeling. Great group of folks---not necessarily what you might expect on a "car enthusiast" forum. Danny's flexibility and FHOP made that possible.

    Your posts are good, too.
