    install Rude person's's center brace to reduce/eliminate ice shudder transitions. i remember your descriptions all too well. others noticed similar improvements in mike's original thread (not the one linked below). its a simple mod that involves taking off 4 screws and not even lifting/jacking up the car.

    I will have to look into this... the lurch and shudder move gave me a panicked moment but now I realized how to avoid it...
