Berman, you're a joke. either that, or your Bozone layer is the thickest i've ever seen. daniel didn't say anything about any of those other candidates, and yet you want to side track the conversation. You then go on to list a ton of crap that i doubt anyone on this board would support, and yet you label it "belief of liberals".

As for the monster, I'm referring to Sadam, you dimwitted fool. can we get a quick show of hands here? Who didn't understand that? anyone? Bueler?

Sure they so. Read up on dispensational premillennialism and see what kind of "friends" you have.

You got me, eagle. I though you were talking about Joe Hussein who owns the deli across the street. He sold me an egg salad sandwich yesterday that nearly gave me food poisoning!

And for the record now Einstein, where you in favor or not in favor of removing your self-defined "monster" from his position of power?

That's another thing- I bought a bagel at a place called Einstein Bagels in Denver, and it was really mediocre. Serves me right for thinking I could get a good bagel in Colorado, I suppose.

Serves you right for thinking you could get a good bagel at a chain!

You gotta stick with the mom & pop places who make 'em fresh. There's a little place in Belmar that has some of the best bagels I've ever had.

You are entirely right about that- but there aren't too many options in Denver if you're jonesing for a bagel! Now if you want to eat some bison, they have plenty of places.
I haven't been to Belmar in years- nice beaches- bu next time in Jersey I might check it out. We got some great bagels in Long Island last weekend...
Got totally distracted talking about food here. What was the subject? Oh, right- Obama.

OMG, a whole 20 minutes since your last post? that must be a record or something! Believe it or not, some of us actually do work, have meetings, etc... WOW.

And guys, you're right... chains suck at making bagels. Except for this one einstein bagel's i know of back on my college campus. I don't know what it was, but their bagels were 100 times better than any bagels i've gotten from any other einstein's.

Sorry Berman, but i refuse to fall for your little trap. I say yes, i wanted him removed, and you'll come at me with some sort of accusation about flip flopping and how wanting to pull out of Iraq is horrible. I say no, and you accuse me of supporting terrorism and seeing good where there's evil, etc etc.

Go play your games elsewhere, i don't want to play.

you dont want to play because of the extremely brittle foundation your beliefs are based on. I do stand by my statement that you canNOT identify evil; you see evil and call it good or at best - sit idly by.

that little trap is all too easy and common if you are honest with yourself and your false constructs. Your failure to act - does endanger me and others here whose enemies are hellbent on our destruction - your failure to identify them, your failure to act - endangers us, emboldens them, and is a danger to all of us.

They have dillusions of some magic period of time. Pull the troops out, bring it all home and... Ahhhhh.... serenity... We go back to the mid 1990's when all we had to do is open the paper up and see Monica and Bill's sorted story.

Gonna be a pretty big smack to the kisser when they do the wrong thing with the troops and find out the old plan was much better than their new plan.

And a few thousand civilians die in Los Angeles or Boston to prove the point... ooops... forgot to think ahead...

You may laugh now, but what will you say or who will you blame when we retreat from the battle and then they strike us again and thousands or tens of thousands of us die? r u going to blame president bush or neocons or whatever little madeup term makes you feel good about yourself? tell me albert, in your humble opinion why did they attack us on 9/11 and what would have been your response - in your perfect world that is?

At least they're 'men' and not self-centered kiddies who think they can dictate and when ignored they take their toys and go it alone. 'ability to play with others' is, after all, an adult trait. Assuming accountability is another.

Back to your post...GO OBAMA and CLINTON (P&VP) They can both wear pants or dresses for all I care. You can't dress up smart, nor can you dress up stoopid..er..junior..er...

I love how you assume that the war in Iraq is what's keeping the terrorists at bay. Do you not realize that the two have absolutely nothing in common? Terrorists operate out of dozens of countries. The individuals they send over to the US have absolutely nothing to do with those who are part of the violence in Iraq.

Please, tell me again how Iraq was connected to 9/11?

I'll tell you what i don't do... I don't attack a sovereign country that had nothing to do with the attack.

Some of the things i would do, however: Gather GOOD intelligence. Work with a multinational group to find and destroy the people actually responsible. Ensure that a proper monument to the dead was constructed in a timely manner (6 1/2 years later, and there still isn't anything remotely nice about the site of the attack). Increase homeland defense through the integration of national and local agencies, and increase communications between different agencies. Ensure that groups dedicated to homeland defense in every town, city, county or state had more than adequate funding for everything they felt was needed for their own safety from terrorists. I do my best to ensure that, while the events of 9/11 will never be forgotten, people can move on with their lives, mourn the loss of their loved ones and not have to mourn the loss of thousands of service men in a foreign civil war we created.
