    Howdy marlowe7 <_<

Your posting does not indicate the year model and equipment of your Prius. In the 2004, the "Calendar" was available *IF* you have the NAV system. It's found on the "Information" Menu. The 2004 Navigation System Owner's Manual - Section IV - Other Functions - pp 101-102. The 2004 Owner's Manual WITHOUT the NAV system does not indicate a "Calendar" function.

Suggestion: On your "Signature" or Avatar, indicate the year model, package and options for your Prius. Others can respond to your questions much better.

Sure it does. He is asking: "Does the '06 have something in the software that the '05's don't?" The obvious and only inference is that he owns an '05.

Interesting - an internet search on the part number has some sites calling it a mask for the 2005 model and other call it a mask for the 2005-2006 models. :( "Let the buyer beware"

Unfortunately Toyota has really screwed this up. They introduced a "2006" bra but it was for the 2005 model which did not have the lip. A friend has a 2005 and had the older 2005 bra. He described it as very difficult to get it to fit around the lights. He was backed into and the insurance bought a new "2006" version. It fit much better but does not fit the real 2006 model. I don't have the exact model number for what he has on his 2005 but am pretty sure it's the one mentioned above. Again I called Toyota two weeks ago and they admitted that the website was wrong. I really hope someone from Toyota reads follows this forum and can at least convince someone to quit marketing the wrong bra for 2006 and I guess 2007's.

Guys. An FYI. My car is an '07. The printout I was given by the dealer for available options has a "Last updated" date on the corner of it is 9/15/05.

The detail for that row is as such:

    Accessory Name: Front End Mask
    Accessory Description: Full
    Retail Price: $211.85
    Part Number: PT218-47050

It doesn't say anything about being designed for an '06 or even '07 but its obviously compatible. :)

A few questions. Did the dealer install the bra over the lip that causes the problem or more importantly does the 2007 have the lip? The 2006 has a small black "air dam" on the bottom of the front bumper that keeps the bra from fitting correctly unless you remove the lip, attach the bra, and then put the lip back on. The part number seems to be the same as the second edition for 2005's per some web sites. Obviously several 2006 owners are wondering about how you or the dealer got the bra to fit.
