The girl in the Facebook thing gets mad at the guy for trying to cheat on her. Ana and I, after a failed attempt at dating, were very good friends. She even baked me a carrot cake as a "prize" for beating her (then) number one lover at chess, a terrible humiliation for him because he was the best chess player in the city, but I had played the best game of my life. He was her lover, but she liked me better than she liked him.

Ana was mentally ill. The girl in the Facebook thing was clever. I've been accused of being crazy, but so far none of the shrinks has gone so far as to summon the men in the white coats. ;)

My wife's closest friends are male, and my closest friends are female. I feel more comfortable and less competitive around women, and I suspect the converse is true with my wife. Mostly it works out fine as long as both partners are mature and responsible, and you have shared trust.

She is a world class flirt, so the answer would be "yes": online, in person, she loves to flirt. I know that's not exactly dating, but it's as close to dating as we married people are allowed.

Speaking of flirting online, in the early days of Internet chatting, I chatted up my wife by posing as an engineering student in Australia. She was *really* pissed off when she realized it was just me in the next room.

I'm not a prude by any stretch, but I draw the line at handcuffs and whips

However, I absolutely DO like handcuffs and feather dusters!

    Whips draw lines... :whip:

And just where exactly do you put your feather duster when you're in your cuffs...

Wow, you perhaps have a dirtier mind than I do - if that is even possible

Seriously, she uses the feather duster to lightly tickle me in all the right places

You can NOT seriously admit you have never had that done?!

    I haven't been dusted...

If you are implying that I have had her dress up in a french maids outfit when the kids are away with her fur-lined leather cuffs and collar on while I dust her for... for... ummmmm...

I have got to just shut the hell up...

Don't worry my friend, sometimes my Friends With Bennies will dress me up like that, and make ME .... um ... "dust" for them

I'll post photos later, if anybody is interested? Mods?

I doubt it. I think you'd be turning 40 with or without the identity crisis.

When I turned 40, I knew I couldn't stop it. Fortunately, I had my Identity Crisis in my mid 30's, so the Big Four Zero was actually a fun time.

    Hint: Friends With Bennies

Yes, please. The mental images alone are already pretty humourous. :D

    Yup, yer gettin' old. :brick:

You should be secure in your parental role for a few years yet. I'm told one of the warning signs of a mid-life crisis is a sudden interest in a sportscar and a girlfriend. Until that happens, you have nothing to worry about. ;)

It's been so long for me that a feather duster just won't work. I may need a California Car Duster to knock the dust off before the tickling can even start!
