Yes, but no one has reached that point yet. To my knowledge, anyway. @bisco?

That's definitely been my experience with all vehicle failures! At least with the Prius it will tell you there's a problem and limp for a bit.

Exactly. I don't get how people can't make that connection. Don't doubt yourself, your evaluation and logic is spot on, in my opinion.
I believe the warranty has changed to a 5-year warranty with one transfer of the remaining warranty to the next buyer of the car if the car is sold by the original battery purchaser. So, GB is already reining it in.

The warranty still states lifetime. But during this COVID time if it is stored fir more than 30 days the warranty is void. You are also required to have diagnostic codes to prove failure first.

This lifetime warranty only applies to Green Bean hybrid batteries purchased (paid for and installed) on or after July 26th, 2019
For all batteries purchased before July 26th, 2019, the warranty is five years.

It would pay to read all the warranty information. There are a few gotchas. Transferability is one of them.

About this time, I was doing the same thing... using SkyRC chargers to charge up Hybrid modules and discharging them one by one (exercising them trying to revive them). I learned a lot in the process. I charged them up using two SkyRC B6AC v2 chargers and tested how long they lasted when discharging them. I measured resistance, how many seconds a module could stay between two voltages, how long they lasted from the high voltage down to 6 volts (6 cells). I noticed some modules could last a long time, but they weren't putting out as much amperage per second. Many factors such as how old the batteries are, how much they have been used, how long they sat without being used will affect how the modules perform. I came to the conclusion that I could install the pack in the car and allow the car to charge them within a few minutes. I could also use an android app called Dr. Prius that could test the modules and tell me which ones needed to be replaced because they weren't performing similarly. I replaced 12 modules, and still could tell there were still another 3 or 4 that should be replaced. It makes it harder because Dr Prius can only tell you which block (2 batteries) are not performing well. After charging the batteries, I could uninstall them and see how long they lasted when I attached a light to them. From this, I paired them up (pairing a really good module with a weaker module) to balance the pack. It worked pretty good for a few months, but now I need to do it again, as the battery sat a bit too long without driving the car. Anyway, did you install the newpriusbatteries pack? How is your MPG?
