We have owned a 2007 Touring since late 06 and love it. It has been rock solid. We decided to replace our minivan with the new v. Tried to get package we wanted this weekend, but no luck. So we order on Monday.

We are getting a five with ATP. Any accessories we should look at?

Really looking forward to have two Prii!

I would suggest tinting the windows.

Some suggest that you should ask the dealer to make the backup beep just a single beep versus constant. I don't mind it much.

A few people suggest replacing the horn with something a bit louder as the default one seems weak.

Consider also a cover for the console, as some feel the cloth might be a bit flimsy.

EnviroPrius – I would also suggest floor mats for the passenger and cargo areas.

What color did you select on your order? :plane:

Here too on the minivan. We kept it for light towing purposes but it is now a 3rd car so doesn't go far. It's nice to go from 20mpg to over 40. :D

Definitely going to tint the windows. Thanks for the info on the floor mats. Do the mudguards decrease mileage?

We are ordering Blue Sky with Dark Grey interior. We have Silver Pine Mica with the bisque on the 07 and want to have the cars be different.

Would like to keep the van, but three reasons I'll let it go.

    1. It's paid for and makes a nice down payment.
    2. Transmission problems are killing me.
    3. Will get a truck someday for towing/hauling purposes.

    Thanks!

Not sure I have time to drive there, but love the price. Will definitely help with the purchase.

It's definitely worth the drive to Dianne's place. They treat you like an honored guest and they really know their stuff when it comes to setting up a Prius.

Thanks everyone. I got our v through Novato Toyota. They were able to find us one in our exact specs and give us a good deal. We pick it up Wed morning. It comes with the rear appliqué and we'll add the cargo net and all weather floor mats. Can't wait. We are excited to add to our Prius family! I'll post pics later.

Well, I am glad you went there.
Did you know I was their Fleet Manager when they were downtown on Redwood Blvd back in the late 80's and into the early 90's? I lived in Northern CA till 1994. The man who owns that store is very near and dear to my heart, still! :)

Thank you Dianne! I've known the family for many years, they are great amd run a top notch dealership. Bought our first Prius from them as well. I was really close to going to work for them at one point, but decided to stay in the wine biz.

We are so happy with our first day of ownership!
