OP, did you get the plugs out?

    Summary:
1- Soak with Liquid Wrench etc for 24 hours.
2- Run the engine to get any carbon build up weakened from heat.
3- Have the correct socket/ tools for the job.
4- Counter clockwise to loosen, clock wise to tighten...confirm/ memorize this
5- Use high pressure air to blowout any debris in the spark plug area before fully removing the spark plug so debris does not fall through the spark plug hole into the engine.
6- Do not use an impact gun; only hand tools.

Installing is another thread. Start by hand/ fingers, plug brand, reach-heat range-gap, wire & boot inspection, anti-seize debate, torque wrench, di-electric grease.

Or perhaps, penny wise and pound foolish - let a professional shop do the repair.

Yeah, not reporting back after asking for help is..... frustrating (I'll leave it at that). Said OP is back today asking for more advice in another thread about taking a prius (I assume the same car) on a long trip. If answering that question, it would be good to know if the plugs got changed.

NO,I did not want to break the plugs!!
I'm still driving with the original plugs!!!
Prius has 98k original miles, runs great!!
I'll have a mechanic change them when I hit 120k

Yes! I leaned that trick at 18yrs old working on cars and still use it later when I’m tightening specific areas that are sensitive to over tightening

I’ve read that there’s a debate whether to use anti-seize. I for one am a bit old school and use them on my any install such as the brakes, or spark plugs. When I worked on my spark plugs this weekend, cyclinder three was super difficult to remove.
