There is a new UI 2.95.1 from our German friends: http://www.china-rns.com/blogs/erebus/170-gui-update-version-2-95-1-fuer-iai-und-iad-serien-7-7-2013.html

There are a lot of new features/fixes but not all of them apply for our Ottonavi.
The major improvement seems to be Bluetooth compatibility (they support a lot more phones...).
So if you were having problems with your phone interfacing with the unit, that might be something to try.
Other than that they also release a new skin (Fremont) which I think is for the Fiat cars..

This update is not good for my unit. You can not export all string with lang.dll of my UI? I translate of mine.

    Here's some more info...

2.95.1 has more strings than 2.93.3
The numbers of strings has gone from 1215 to 1382 and then to 1437.
And the strings from 2.95.1 are a superset of 2.93.3 anyway.

So it's better for all of us if we create a new lang.dll from 2.95.1 instead.
You will still be able to use 2.93.3 with the new lang.dll if you want.

Here is a new tools package to accommodate strings in 2-95-1 (and below).

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/63503986/RRTools-v4.zip
The package contains the 3 tools: RRStringsTool, RRUITool and RRUIEditor along with the latest skins from RR.

    Please note:
I haven't tested the changes on the unit itself but I did some tests on the PC and it looks OK.

For alecoss: please let us know if this is working for you.

    Hello wcw,

    May be. What's your unit?
    MCU version?
    UI version?

    Hi Bulle,

I am totally a newbie in this.

Would you mind to guide me the walkthrough to obtain the relevant information?

Well we need to know which brand it is first.
There should be an option or menu somewhere to let you know which versions you are running.
Or take a picture of your unit and different screens so we can guess which unit you have.

This doesn't look like a Roadrover unit so I don't think our skin tools will work here.

On the other hand, you can still probably install more apps by using MioPocket (free).
Or if you want to be sure, ask Petrut at www.wincepatch.com 's blog.
He has a nice wrapper package (but $$$) which is a subset of MioPocket.
At least he will probably support your unit.

I'm a french girl, so excuse my bad english, please.
I would like to use the screen with the green leaf, but I can't use it because there is already a drawing clok on this picture.
Could you send me this modified screen please ?

    Thank you very much,

    Françoise

    Hello Françoise (or Patrice?),

It looks like Clayfree, the original poster, has not been around for a while.
This was just a mockup he made; not a background screen we could use directly.
So if you want to use it you will have to do some Photoshop editing as the original PSD file has never been posted I believe.

    Hi Bulle,

I'm Françoise and Patrice's wife  How did you find that it was perhaps the same family ?
Sorry, but I don't know Photoshop enough to do that. I'll keep another background screen that I found on this post.
Thank you very much for everything you are doing.

    Françoise

    Hi Bulle and members:
I am new to the forum and recently purchased/installed my otto navi unit- thanks to this forum. I am now looking to change the logo and skins similar to ones that have been posted. Are there new updates in Dropbox that have the latest and greatest collaborative creations that support my unit.
    Shell: 2.86.8
    OS: en-prima-v1.55
    MCU: d65tprh7-bhrt1-v9.04
Any help is greatly appreciated. Also, this might make you laugh, how do you remove the SD? Is there a door or eject? Lol.

    Hello MOJOSG,

The SD card is behind the button marked CARD (bottom right corner just below the MUSIC button).
Use your nail or a little screwdriver to pop up the door then press on the SD card.
(Be careful, the SD slot has a powerful spring and might eject the SD card very far away...)

The first post might be helpful as it contains many links to skins, tools, etc: read it first.
