our governor ordered masks outdoors on all public property. that's the only rule i don't follow. when the cdc or ma dph explains why it is important, i will. and i'm speaking of going for a walk in sparsely populated places never coming within 20' of another person.
i'm all for science and data, but not politiccal pandering

So I left work early (I am a salaried employee but left after 8 hours), and then I returned the next day. What I am to believe from Dr. Coleman is that I would be a statistic in his cited "article".

So the vaccine rollout should cease because my body is reacting to the stimulus it received:whistle:?

Isn't it a sign that my body is reacting to the stimulus and it affected me for 6-8 hours and now I am back to normal ;)?

The definition given is broad so if a broad definition is given, you can claim a lot of things .

He says he's about science but my bodies response tells me that the vaccine was accepted and is now programmed to respond :).

But I'm sure you've got another knowledgeable source queued up(y).

this is a tech /mechanic forum so .. there will be more electrical/electronic /mechanics knowledge persons here than health-field trained ...
    ....

you're right.. a broad definition leaves a situation open for alot of discussion and posssibilities ..

there is maintanence .. i mean if u dont excercise its bad .. if u dont eat properly (ie alot of fast/junk food) its bad .. if the air quality sucks .. bad for the lungs to filter .. etc ..

guess what the thing is (and there are alot more videos by that dr. vernon) and most of these doctors (anti-vaxxers) are stating :

be healthy so u dont need to get a needle jab of 'unknown origon /foreign material' into your body ..
as you body has an amazing immune system ....

'your body has an amazing immune system'

tell that to the half million plus that have died in this country alone, and the ones with permanent damage.

500,000 people ... 50 states ... would that be 10,000 per ? no ... how many people normally die from flu each year ? how many people were already in ill health and the lockdown , masking and depression pushed them over the edge ?

Science Says (video) : The Corbett Report
"The mouthpieces of the scientific establishment have identified the latest global security threat: antiscience. So what does that mean, exactly? Whatever they want it to mean, of course! This week on The Corbett Report podcast, James explores the game of Science Says that the self-appointed experts are playing with the public and outlines how that game is about to get a whole lot darker."

the reality of it is : the body you have been givin is your responsibility to take care of ...
if it falls into too deep of decline then external factors will overinfluence it beyond it's capability to maintain itself ..

.. we all become lazy at times .. when we become too lazy for too long then we pay the price ...

While the only thing we can control is ourselves, shouldn't we look out for those that are in need of assistance, not just say "oh well, there immune system is weak" or "if it's my time, it's my time"?

I believe in helping others and that in turn makes the world a better place:).

Part of that belief is that we work together to solve problems. The pandemic is a problem and we are trying to solve it. But "doing what I think is right" versus doing what those that have been educated and are in positions to use that education to help solve problems think is right are two different things:cool:.

You claim to listen to or follow science, so have you researched the effectiveness of masks, as an example? Since you also appear to be the type that "if I don't see it, it can't be true or didn't happen", how do you explain the decline in flu cases this year? Or if you want to swing the other way, how do you explain the increase in deaths this year when compared to prior years?

The pandemic is a thing and the only way we get out of this is to work together;).

    I'm doing my part(y).

Interesting move: sure, the annual number for flu nationwide does fall in the same order of magnitude that you managed to scale the COVID number down to by expressing it per state.

Probably effective, too, on listeners who aren't paying enough attention.

Vaccines work by giving the immune system a heads up of what threats are out there so it has a quick response if exposed to the real thing. That amazing immune system takes time to respond, letting many infectious agents do serious damage before they are fought off.

Then many COVID and flu deaths are because that amazing immune system over reacted, and essentially drowned the person in their own fluids.

When a vaccinated person gets exposed, their immune system reacts faster. Fending off the agent before serious, or any, symptoms occur, and long before the number of agents poses a threat to life.

Ten to twenty thousand deaths from flu is an average year. Forty thousand is a bad year. The swine flu only killed around 12,500 in the US, but what made it alarming was that most of those were under 65. If Mexico hadn't responded with shut downs and masks, it likely would have been worse in the US.
