After 4 months of owning my Prius here are my plus and minus. Some of the minuses are in comparison to my old SUV so it’s not necessarily the issue with car itself as it is what I am used to driving.
    · Love not having to pay more than $35.00 ever to get to a full tank no matter how low the tank is.
    · The seat(s) are noticeably comfortable.:)
    · Love the start up (or as I prefer to say “boot up”) process
    · Love the very informational dashboard
    · Love having control on the steering wheel
    · Love how it rides on the open flat roads
    · Love the acceleration
    · Love the EV mode in parking lots
    · Love how quiet it is
    · Love the look I get from other Prius drivers when we pass each other on the road
    · Love the JBL enhanced audio system
    · Love the Bluetooth in the car
    · Love the service I get from the dealer I purchased the car

And some of the minuses are:

    · Low to the ground
    · I feel like people in larger vehicles are looking down at me when I am on the road
    · I can’t drive directly in to my driveway since the curb has a high lip (have to back in)
    · I don’t like the that middle bar that’s in the rear window
    · I don’t like the top down view of the navigation system ( I prefer the 3d view)
    · No heated seats. Mainly because it is colder now
    · Can’t turn the air/heat on through the steering wheel, but I can control the temp levels
    · The beeping

All in all I don’t regret buying the car. I like it, but don’t love it the way I loved my SUV every day up until the day I traded it in.

:) In over forty years of vehicle ownership. I've never experienced "sellers remorse". Equally, I've never had "buyers remose" either. I wouldn't consider the Prius sits low. I don't have any problems with the factory height.

You can have the dealer disable the beeping, especially the reverse beep. As far as the driveway curb, I have the same problem. I make sure I enter the driveway at an angle instead of straight on to avoid any scraping. I found the seats more comfortable when I added 3 washers under each front floor attachment point for the driver's seat. I like to sit a bit higher but I lose thigh support the higher the seat since it slightly tilts forward. The washers help keep the seat angled enough for proper support.

My v is my second Prius, the first being a 2010 Prius IV. Terrific cars!

That's expected from a small low Cd car

    They are.

That's because the car is down low to the ground...or your driveway is a problem.

    Don't use that mode

There are trim levels that have heated seats.

I have heated seats but my car is in storage every winter so they will never get used [IMG]

You should be able to get aftermarket seat heaters and seat covers or possibly a shop could install seat heaters with the factory seat covers.

Average 20th Century cars are even lower.

OP feels 'low' because he is no longer in an SUV.

Your dealer can get rid of the beeping on reverse. It's just a programming thing.

What do you drive during the cold months if you don't mind me asking?

I'm also on the side of the Prius isn't as low as other cars. I went from a Highlander to a Prius and sure it's lower but there's less of a drop than in my wife's 2009 Lexus 330.

I have the heated seats although I haven't tried them yet. I never used it much in my Highlander - warm butt.

So far after 1200 miles I'm thoroughly enjoying the car. Very pleased to go from 18MPG to 50MPG.

The Prius v station wagon would help with these issues, at a cost of 10 MPG.

I hope it's environmentally friendly like a Porsche Cayenne Hybrid or similar! lol
