CEL has been on for a while now. I've cleaned the MAF, with specific cleaner, a few times but CEL always comes back.
I found a document that spelled out test values for the MAF sensor. I can't find it now but recall it tested both the MAF portion of the sensor as well as temperature. This checked out fine.
I have an OBD2 reader with Torque app and the Intake Air Temp and Mass Air values are present and seem reasonable.

Can anyone point me to more troubleshooting steps or other parameters to monitor on the Torque app?

    Thanks in advance.

When this error comes up, you most likely need to replace the sensor. Used ones are fairly cheap and they work like new

What MAF readings do you get at what RPM under what load and at what engine temperature?
Cold idle in park (1300 rpm) =? g/sec
    Hot idle in park (1000 rpm) = ? g/sec
Gas pedal on floor (WOT) - hot engine
    - park- 2500 = ? g/sec
WOT accel - hot engine @65-75 mph
    = ? g/sec?

Well I embarrassed to say that I had previously cleaned the wrong part of the sensor. I mistook the IAT bulb for the MAF portion.
I cleaned the MAF plates and have driven for about 85 miles with no light. Not declaring victory yet but...

Good find. Keep us updated as to how things go.
