I had my airbag light come on a few days ago, it stays on constantly. I checked the sensors under each seat and unplugged and replugged them and this doesn’t seem to fix the issue.
I was going to go to the dealer and today, I opened the car and had a check engine light. The code was P0607.
I did some research and the car hasn’t been exposed to any water lately. Besides that only thing that is of importance is I recently changed the head gasket (over 2 months ago) and car has been running fine ever since. I also removed a head light yesterday (no idea if this has anything to do with the ECM) and I replaced the 12v battery.
Will try to bring to a dealer soon but any leads on why the problem may be?
    Thanks

The two lights are for different problems. The P0607 could be a problem with the heated oxygen sensor, or with the transistor inside the ECM that drives the sensor's heater. There are six pages in the repair manual about how to troubleshoot it.

You haven't said what trouble code(s) the airbag system is giving you. I think the Gen 3 airbag system can still give you trouble codes this way. Worth a try, anyway:
