P0A92 code after replacing hv battery

    So that's a pretty definite burnt out MG2 stator then. (Burnt out insulation that is, at the very least).

    *MG1. The wire was fairly damaged in two places. MG2 is bigger but looked fine.

    Excellent photos. It's nice to see that MG1 definitely required replacement. Which used transaxle did you buy (how many miles on donor vehicle), and how is your car running now?

    Also, note the lower half of the stator is wrapped in red insulation. I suppose that was intended to keep ATF from soaking into the stator windings?

    Maybe it would have helped if that red insulation covered more of the stator.
