This happens most often when someone is disassembling the HV battery and doesn't realize there are temperature sensors attached to the bottom of three modules. They attempt to remove the module and accidently stretch, bend or break one of the wires right at the sensor. Unsure of how to fix it, it typically just gets jammed back into the heat shrink or something similar.

The best way to fix this is to replace the temperature sensor harness. That's the harness that has the three 'underneath' sensors along with the temp sensor that mounts on the upper clamp rail on the end above block 2. An alternate method is to purchase a replacement thermistor. There's a thread on here somewhere where the poster found a similar universal sensor and spliced it in.
