p261b, stop and go, power cycle rapid temp drop, triangle, coolant pump

    i tightened it up again - am assuming i somehow need to recharge it ?

    Recharging you’ll need the right equipment to do so;).

    Not always available to the diy types so you’ll need to seek out a ac guy:cool:.

    Just make sure that they don’t have the incorrect oil in it(y).

    Worth searching around here, but I believe the ND-11 type is what you want and avoid the PAG oil;).

    You could try to add the refrigerant without the oil, but search around before doing a thing as the compressor isn’t cheap. If it were me, I’d drop the $20 for a two day subscription to techinfo.toyota.com and get all the right info:).

    Just finished and got the hybrid warning, plus 261b 102 and 113

    driving now seems robust like it has not been in at least a few years and noticing temp goes up to 195.8 and hovers there, peaked a little higher on a hill and then went down to 190ish. though have seen it lower while driving. only a couple hundred miles so far.
